INFRA Technology participated in the Gas Flare Reduction & Monetization Forum in Denver in June 2015

Dr. Vladimir Mordkovich, INFRA’s Chief Technology Officer, presented at the “Gas Flare Reduction & Monetization Forum”, organized by Energy Frontiers International (EFI) in Denver, Colorado, in June 2015.

Speeches from EFI member companies included perspectives from a range of experts focused on the reduction and elimination of gas flaring in scenarios including stranded and associated gas, operations, and well completions; exploration and assessment of the pathways being explored by resource owners, operators, and technology providers to monetize natural gas, methane, ethane, and NGLs; as well as emerging commercial deployment of small-scale GTL and syngas technologies and opportunities they present in North America and elsewhere for both offshore and distributed conversion of natural gas and other feedstocks into fuels and chemicals.

Dr. Mordkovich’s presentation, entitled “Gas-to-Oil: New Generation of GTL Technology”, showed that application of INFRA’s proprietary technology represents both a technological and an economic breakthrough in the synthesis of liquid hydrocarbon fuels that makes even small-scale GTL plants economically viable and for the first time in history allows to monetize associated gas without any subsidies.

In particular, INFRA’s 100 barrels-a-day modular transportable GTL plant, which is being built in Houston, Texas is anticipated to have marginally positive NPV for the customer without any subsidies.
